Alpana Pal

Alpana is Clinical Counsellor with Singapore Association of Counselling (SAC) and a Certified Master Practitioner with Association of Psychotherapists and Counsellors in Singapore (APACS).

She has lived in Singapore for the past 23 years and has volunteered with various agencies in Singapore. As a counsellor in private practice, she has gained extensive experience in counselling Adults, Youth and Families. She has received training in SPED as well as specific learning difficulties and has experience working with children on social, emotional and behavioral issues. Alpana works as an adjunct counsellor with a school and a social welfare agency. She also facilitates drug rehabilitation programs with Singapore Prison Services.

She believes “there are no weak people, just weak moments” that make people vulnerable. She aims to help individuals overcome their difficulties through cultivating a non-judgemental and safe therapeutic relationship based on respect, trust and care. Her warm and outgoing personality helps build instant rapport with her clients. She uses an integrative approach to meet the specific needs of her clients.

Alpana received her professional qualifications from Monash University (Australia). She has received training in special education & specific learning difficulties in children.
